Why buy expensive beauty products when you can easily make them yourself? With common household ingredients like milk, nuts and oil, you can turn honey into an inexpensive, all-natural cleanser or conditioner.

Honey Cleanser
Mix 1 tablespoon honey with 2 tablespoon finely ground almonds and 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice. Rub gently onto face. Rinse with cool water.

Facial Toner
In a blender, puree 2 tablespoon honey with a peeled core apple. Smooth over face. Leave on 15 minutes. Rinse with cool water.

Firming Facial Mask
Whisk together 2 tablespoon honey, 1 egg white, 1 teaspoon glycerine (available at drug and beauty stores) and enough flour to form a paste. Smooth over the face and throat. Leave for 10 minutes. Wash off with warm water.

Skin Softening Bath
Add 1/4 cup honey to bah water for fragrant, silky bath.

Smooth Skin Conditioner
Mix 2 teaspoon honey with 1 teaspoon vegetable oil and 1/4 teaspoon lemon juice. Rub into hands, elbows, and heels, any where skin feels dry. Leave on 10 minutes. Rinse off.

For Shiny Hair
Stir 2 teaspoon honey into 4 cups (1 quart) warm water. Add a squeeze of lemon if desired. After shampooing, pour mixture through hair. Do not rinse out.

Hair Conditioner
Mix 1/2 cup of honey with 1/4 cup of olive oil. Use 2 tablespoon oil for normal to oil hair. Using small amount at a time, work mixture through hair until coated. Cover the hair with shower cap. Leave on 30 minutes – remove shower cap. Shampoo well and rinse. Dry as normal.

Soothing  Skin  ( for minor acne flare-ups)
Mix 1/2 cup warm water with 1/4 teaspoon salt. Using a cotton, apply directly to blemish. Maintain pressure with cotton ball for several minutes, to soften blemish. Using a cotton swab, dab HONEY on the blemish. Leave on 10 minutes. Rinse and pat dry.

  6. Heart Disease- Use the recipe for high blood pressure and sip a half cup of the mixture three times a day.
  7. Impotence- Boil a cup of vinegar with seven to ten crushed cloves of garlic and tablespoon of natural honey for five minutes. Cool and drink like tea.
  8. Acne or pimple- Put the basic potion on affected areas with a piece of cotton each night.
  9. Gas or Indigestion- Put two tablespoon of the basic mixture in a cup of water and warm to the temperature you use for coffee or tea. Sip slowly at the first sign of distress.
